There are many tips and advice on how to get the best results at the gym from gurus, fitness experts, coaches and all...so I compiled it and narrowed down to ones I think are the bes AND their reasons why!
Get that protein in before your gym time
Why is protein so important? Apart from the fact that protein is an essential body element, it is vital in our body functions. It is an important building block of muscles, bones, cartilage, skin, and blood! It is found in every cell in our body. It means that before you go and workout at the gym, load up in protein (that’s why we all have our protein shakes!) 30 minutes before. It will act as fuel in muscle formation and less fat formation.
There are a lot of ways and means to get your protein in aside from your shakes or drink. You can get protein from different food sources such as fish, eggs, turkey and more!
The Science of Training
Track your workouts. Get a journal.
In tracking your workouts, you can see what you have been doing and tracking whether it works or not. Create a ritual out of it but make sure you track the intensity level of your workouts. When you get used to a workout, your body hits a plateau and you’ll notice no changes at all. Keeping track of what you’ve been doing plus the weights and equipment you’re using will yield you better results! Time at the gym won’t be a waste.
Better yet, get a fitness trainer! They’ll guide you properly on your training and can give you results in as short as 12 weeks.
Learn to be a scientist of your own body, learn what works and what doesn’t.
